U of K doctors wanted the three test done that is all fine but the place that was going to do the test does not want to do them on me. Since i have had 42 surgeries most places are scared to even touch me.

So yet again we are playing the waiting game.

We wanted to thank everyone who has been keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.

molly's b-day

For Molly's 2nd b-day October 25 we went to Gattis pizza in elizabethtown with My mom, Sister jessica, Bro in-law Jesus, Nephew Andre & Donna

New update with wound care and U of K docs

My wound is still healing and is now 1cm wide and 1 1/2 cm deep. Josh is still packing it twice daily.

As for the docs at U Of K they are wanting me do have more test done. Next tuesday I will be having a myelograph and a ct scan done. A myelograph is kinda like a spinal tap. They are going to insert die into the spinal canal. I know I am not going to like this test. Than on the 21st of Nov. I am going to have a EMG done. We are hoping that after all these test they will know what is going on with my back.

Next step is Lexington

I had my CT scan and Bone scan done Tuesday I saw the doc on wed. The scans showed I do still have a wound and the doc still can not see why i have it. Well hmmm I could of told the doc that I still have the wound. Josh has been packing it twice a day. So now I am being sent to a Spina Bifida doc in Lexington. So about 120 miles away to U of K.

It has been 6 weeks now I just want to take a hot bath :( if you don't know when you have an open wound you cant take baths. So lately it has been sponge bathing for me yet again. But I know it will get better just have to ride it out.

Wound Care & Prayers

We are still doing wound care. Josh is great at it. On Wed. we saw the wound Doctor and he wants a CT scan and a Bone scan done around the wound. The doctor is the same doc who did my amputation last year. So he knows my past medical history and just wants to make sure everything is Ok.

Yesterday while the home health nurse was by I starting having seizures and she wanted Josh to call 911 so i was picked up by ambulance taken no more than 2 minutes away by walking. While I was there in the ER the doctor wanted to take blood and all the fun stuff. They found out I have a very bad bladder infection well we always know I have one so it was no big news to me. But my nurse who I think is new got to do her first cath using a bladder stoma. To me it is just a normal day thing. She was so nervous I could see it in her eyes. I just walked her through it I kinda felt like a teacher teaching her how to cath a person who has a bladder stoma. It was kinda cool. So now I am on meds for the infection, Nero pain meds to help the pain that my lovely spine is sending out and some pain meds for when Josh changes the wound.

On a side note- My good friend Lillie is having gallbladder surgery this morning can you all please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Time is flying by

I can't believe Molly will be two next month. This past year has gone by so fast. So much has happened. Molly learned to walk,talk & just be the blessing I thought I would never have. She still has little to no hair but I know it will grow one day. She is still tiny weighing 22 lbs at 22 months. People still don't think Molly is going to be 2. They always say she looks 15 months. Oh but she is tiny but mighty. She loves climbing on the dinning chairs to turn off and on the lights all day long. Her favorite thing is to turn the ceiling fan on in the living room. Molly is now sleeping in her toddler bed and loving it. We have it where if she needs us she can walk right into our room and not wonder around the house at night. She will bring her baba, monkey, and blanket with her and sometimes just falls asleep right next to our bed. We notice her doing this so we put down some pillows she can lay on. Or she will climb into bed with us. I love how she would try and steal our pillows while we sleep. She is so sneaky :) My 3lb baby girl that i once knew is now a full on toddler and is growing into a beautiful little girl.

When we found out that I was pregnant again in January we were so happy but worried at the same time. I wanted Molly to have siblings but worried how my body would handle this pregnancy. Molly and I were visiting family in California when we found out. But for some reason when Molly and I came home in March I was cramping and bleeding. We lost the baby March 15. The doctors said I was three months along and was going into labor. They had to do a D&C I did not know how to feel about the lose of Baby Ray "Our Angel in Heaven" Was it meant to be that we not have a 2nd child this year. In March we had no clue what the rest of the year had in store for us. I know Josh really wanted to have a son like all fathers do. But we stood together and got through it as a family. I know one day Molly will be a big sister if it will be by me having another or us adopting a child who needs a family. All we can do is pray and give it up to God.

Josh has been the biggest help for me this year. He has been the shoulder I needed to cry on. Or someone just to say I love you. I don't think any other guy in this world would stick around with the medical problems, my stubbornness & hard headed person I am. Josh has been my live in nurse when it comes to the medical stuff. He has packed my wounds, helped with giving the IV meds, Change the dressings & all the fun stuff that comes along. We celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary this past July and since day one when we first met I knew I found my night in shinning armor & the love of my life.

I am still dealing with getting my new prosthetic. I had my first fit last week and we are praying by the end of the year I will be walking again. I also got a new kind of leg brace. It will help with strengthening my leg up so when I do walk again my leg can be strong. I can't wait to walk with Molly, give Josh a hug standing up or just be able to walk around the house with out using a wheelchair.

Molly has three amazing cousins

When Molly turns two it will also be a year since my Grandpa Chet passed away. Grandpa was the first grandparent I lost and it was so hard. I could not just call him up anymore or just hear his hunting stories. Grandpa was amazing guy and is missed everyday.

This past year we have had our ups and downs. But we had family & God for the support we needed.
